We’re back with another list of top blood donation social media posts! This one recaps our favorite posts from March…can you believe how fast this year is going? We can’t either.
Working on social media campaigns allows our team to see all the good (and the bad, but we’re here to focus on the good!) social media posts, so we want to keep sharing them to help spark any ideas for your blood center’s marketing team.
OneBlood
OneBlood played into the “choose your date night” trend and we loved how it turned out. This type of content is also UGC, and is a style of content we strongly encourage! It looks very authentic and increases the trust factor in the blood center since there are everyday people advocating for donating blood there.
Central California Blood Center
They are on a roll with the Tiktok trends! We find this trend so funny, and it’s something your blood center can easily do in your center!
Versiti Blood Center of Wisconsin
This Facebook reel had our whole team laughing. It’s super cute and a lighthearted way to incorporate our furry friends into encouraging people to donate blood. Plus those bandanas are adorable!
Vitalant
With everyone talking about the eclipse, we were excited to see that Vitalant created a promotion for eclipse glasses and a tshirt and posted this Instagram reel. We loved that he uses some humor with the “moonburn” too
Blood Assurance
With most (if not all) blood centers focusing on bringing in younger donors, we loved that Blood Assurance partnered with Chattanooga University and used, what appear to be, college students in their reel to help appeal to the younger crowd. The Mario music (a nod to their promotion) adds a lighthearted and playful contrast to the many serious donation need posts we constantly see.
Lifeshare Blood Center
Another Tiktok trend! It’s crazy how such a simple post can generate 65,000 views! We love that it plays into what’s trending on the platform while also educating donors on how long they have to wait before donating blood again.
Lifesouth Community Blood Center
We always encourage recognizing your blood donors and showing your appreciation for their life-saving gift and this simple video does just that along with possibly inspiring those who are on the fence about donating blood!
