Understanding the Role of Team Captain

Lately, there has been some buzz on our blog and mentions about the position of Team Captain at Incept.

Now, I’m pretty partial to this topic, because I not only serve as a Conversational Marketing Expert (CME) but also help out with our social media department. One of my favorite roles to serve Incept in is being a Team Captain for one of our teams of recruiters, properly known as “The Youngbloodz”.

After wanting to improve the company by identifying ways to increase efficiencies, Incept decided to break our Conversational Marketing™ Experts (CMEs) up into teams. Not only does this help us manage individuals better, but it truly helps us in almost all aspects of everything we do. It is micromanaging at its finest.

I recently had the chance to sit down with fellow Team Captain and Program Results Coach Jeff Wein for a moment to pick his brain on the topic of what a Team Captain does and how one should take on the position.
